As Manager Services at Damen Naval you will maintain customer relationship and satisfaction and contribute to the services strategy and represents Damen Naval to relevant stakeholders. You will realize the department objectives and meets customer expectations based on the strategy, plan, and budget and in line with HSSEQ-, compliancy-, risk- and corporate guidelines. The Services department of Damen Naval is managed by a team consisting of the Manager Services and the Operational Manager Services. The Manager Services is responsible for the department in general and for business development in particular. The Operational Manager Services is responsible for executing the contracted services and develop, professionalize, and manage the Services department to ensure sustainable business development. As Manager Services your key responsibilities will include: Develop and professionalize the department and ensure sustainable business development. Co-develop long-term commercial leads for new markets in alignment with business strategy and objectives. Deliver high-quality proposal packages to both new and existing customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, representing the company to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute service programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Analyse and manage financial performance. optimizing revenue, costs, and profitability. Lead the service organization, supporting the Operational Manager Services in executing contracted services and warranty work. Represent the company to customers and relevant professional associations. Ensure full compliance with applicable requirements and specifications, continuously evaluating and improving department processes. Foster the development, transfer, and retention of knowledge within the department. To excel as Manager Services, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities: Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant technical field. Minimum of ten years of experience in services management, preferably in naval ships, with a strong understanding of supply chain concepts and practices. Expertise in subcontract management, financial management, and broader management principles and techniques. Good command of the Dutch and English language both written and verbal. Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
